About Us

Proud Member of the Greater York Region Chamber of Commerce
The Mobility Advocate™ is a Northern New England small business whose mission is to provide viable mobility solutions for people who are recovering from leg injury or illness.

We understand that when injury or illness strikes, it can disrupt your life and your ability to maintain your income.  We understand that lack of mobility can lead to serious further medical problems.  We understand that the products on the market now offer limited solutions and do not give you the mobility you need to maintain your lifestyle.

We have our finger on the pulse of new technology to offer you.

The Mobility Advocate™ is a compassionate business dedicated to furthering the humanitarian efforts of Kids First Enterprise, a non profit organization offering the people of Dong Ha Town in Vietnam the skills and ability to manufacture wheelchairs and other medical products.  Their profits  fund  programs  like the Kids First Rehabilitation and Career Training Village in Dong Ha Town.  The distribution of wheelchairs built by the Kids First Wheelchair Factory will focus on providing wheelchairs to individuals who will, through the use of a wheelchair, provide sustainability for themselves and their families. Their goal is to create sustainability for up to 50,000 families over 5 years.

In addition, the factory provides jobs for the local community, with a focus on employing people with disabilities that graduate from Kids First’s industrial training program.

Kids First Enterprise and Forward Mobility, the national distributor of the Voyager Seated Scooter© and the Innovator Ultra-Light Wheelchair© have just donated 100 wheelchairs to the people of Central Vietnam.  The 100 Wheelchairs were presented to recipients selected to receive their first wheelchair through cooperation with the Vietnamese government.  These mobility products provide safe, affordable off-loading for foot, ankle, knee and hip rehabilitation and recovery.

AND

We also seek to reach out to the people of our local community by donating $5.00 per unit rental or sale to local charitable organizations.

We believe that business owners have a responsibility to give back to the local and global communities that help our business grow.
